Tutorial: How to Use Layered Templates

I had a question asked of me in one of my posts. This person asked for a tutorial on how to use Layered Templates (specifically in Photoshop Elements). I confess, teaching was not a gift God gave me. If anyone is able to muddle up the explanation, I'm great at that! However, I did search for a few tutorials for any of you looking for some step by step instructions. Knowing that everyone learns differently, I found a few options.

Hummie: http://www.hummiesworld.com/tutorials.html (Course 1, Lesson 6L) - She's in the process of converting all the tutorials to PDF files - I'll link directly to it once it's complete.

Misty Cato: http://mistycatodesigns.blogspot.com/2007/03/layered-template-tutorial.html

PaoJava: http://alexis3700.wordpress.com/2007/06/08/layered-template-tutorial-freebie/

If I find more, I'll post them. If anyone can recommend others, please post them in the comments.

Sarah,
I couldn't find an email address anywhere, so I'll do this publicly!

I absolutely love your template designs. They are right up my alley. I just "found" them this week and have already used two or three.

Something I discovered today, though, is that you full-justify some of your journaling boxes. I use Elements, and do not have that function---to my eternal frustration! Somehow that command translates over, though, so when I use your journaling boxes, it full justifies the text.

I know you said you don't want to design for money, but I'd be willing to pay for text layer PSD templates that are full justified. Just a thought??

My email address is sarah_m_garner(at)yahoo(dot)com.

Thanks!

Sarah (too!)
