Christmas Gifts

I was asked to share my Christmas gifts. As you've seen, I'm doing the calendar/planner. But I'm also continuing a gift that I started last year. I purchased 4x6 Photo Albums that had two holes on each page. Amara, being my oldest, got the "top" slot; Dominic got the "bottom" slot. The opening page holds each of their birth announcements (which I created at 4x6 when they were born). Then each consecutive page has a LO from their first month, second month, third month, etc. Again being older, Amara has more pages than Dominic. However, it's neat to see each child next to the other at the same/similar ages.

So these are the "filler" pages to add to the book which I started last year. I have just been digging out old LOs and "cropping" them down to 4x6 for simplicity sake. Unfortunately, I'm only caught up w/ scrapping through May, so I won't be able to "cheat" on the last ones. I still have a few months (5) to go to get current, but this is what I've got so far.....

Actually.... let me change that. This slide.com show includes both what I've got so far this year as well as what I gave them last year (minus the birth announcements).

Sarah, your layouts for the kids are absolutely beautiful & heart touching. I need to get in gear... only wish I'd gotten started 27 yrs ago (my oldest's age) ;-)

These are BEAUTIFUL! I wish I had the time (and energy) to do everything you do. By the way, I finished a few more pages with your templates - thank you so much! Go to http://sneakypug.blogspot.com to see them. Thank you and Merry Christmas!

Wow! Your layouts are beautiful! You are very talented! My Dad had actually forwarded me your blog as my Mom had found it while looking for digital scrapbooking ideas, and he enjoyed reading it too. I am really anxious to get into digital scrapbooking myself, but I have such a hard time sitting down to get started. Any suggestions? When do you typically work on your digital scrapbooking and how long does it take you per page? I spend too much time on one page, so I never get anything accomplished with it, but I'd love to do something to preserve the memories.

Your children are precious too! I have a 13 month daughter of my own.

Sarah, Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful album with us. It is so amazing! Please leave it on your blog for a long time because I'm sure I'll be visiting it for inspiration again and again. I just love the scriptures on each page. You have been blessed with an amazing talent. And adorable children, too!

Sarah, your children are beautiful! You are amazingly gifted by God with your creations. Thank you for all you have shared with us. I hope to get back on the layout bandwagon once I get through our BIG Christmas production here in NH ("Hope is Born").
A snow day here, so I'm trying to finish up paperwork odds and ends and wanted to stop by and say "hi"!

Sarah, after viewing those beautiful photos, I can easily see why you created this wonderful album for each child. Stopping just to let you know that I have been thinking of you. Of course, the days I unable to visit, you leave a message. So what else is new as far as I am concerned. Trying to organize my photos for the clipboard calendar. Sent message to family members asking for photos that I will scan and then correct the best that I can. I feel so good about your gorgeous templates and want you to know that your lovely gifts of love are appreciated and will travel many miles during this holiday. I am late starting, of course, because of my Oncology Infusion week, following the Thanksgiving holiday. So leaving words of encouragement. Children are resilient and compensate in various ways as you have so wisely seen. The photo is an excellent idea and I hope it help solve this temporary problem. Once you are moved and settled, things will calm down, LOL. So thanks for signing in. Give my love and support to your family and new friends that you will make during this move. God has beautiful things in store for you. He rewards his angels with blessings that multiply over and over. So sweet!!!

Your slide show is absolutely awesome! You are so talented. I hope you leave it up for a long time as I would like to try and scraplift some of your layouts as I love the verses you have chosen. Would like to do them all but know I am just not talented enough to do them all myself.

What can I say, you inspire me, and do such a fabulous job. I really want to do one of these about my 4 year old grandson. I have tons and tons of photos of him.
