Quick Check-In

Just wanted to quickly check in and let you know I'm still here!

We took a family vacation from the 26th til today (just got home) -- and it was blissfully full of friends and internet free. So I haven't even checked email yet -- and probably won't be able to until Monday or Tuesday.

I did get a good start on November and December -- so those should be up by week's end. Yes, BOTH of them! Then the travel of a job transfer begins in earnest.

Quick prayer request: My 3 year old is having her tonsils out on Monday at 2:45EST -- lovely time. Try telling a 3 year old she can't eat after 6:15 am! Yeah... that will work well! Anyway.... if I can get wireless at the hospital, I will!

Glad to see everything is alright. I've come a few times and have thought something must be seriously going on for you not to have posted in a "long" time. LOL. Glad you guys were able to get away and enjoy some family time with friends and no internet!

I also want to thank you for all your fabulous freebies. Your calendars are wonderful. They are being used to make Christmas presents this year. Now my mom will be able to see 3 of her grandchildren everyday, even though we live in different states! Thanks for your generosity and sharing your God given talent with us! You're a gem.

I'll be thinking about your little one tomorrow afternoon! And you too! Special prayers will be going up at 1:45 CST (my time)

God Bless.

I felt a wind go by! Wow you are busy. Glad you are back and had fun, I will say a prayer for your little girl and particularly for you (I'm sure by 7am you'll need it. GRIN) and I am thrilled to hear you have Nov and Dec almost ready. I don't see how you get it all done.

Glad to hear from you, Sarah! Prayers go with your little one for the tonsil removal. Poor thing. Also, wanted to let you know that I started on the calendars last night...they are so fun and quick to do! They are going to be a wonderful and welcome Christmas gift. Thank you so much for putting this together for us. You are such a blessing!

Welcome back. We missed you. And of course, many prayers for the little one. And for you having to deal with a 3 yo that can't eat.

Glad to hear that everything is going well, and that you and your family had time for a little vacation before you start your major move plans.

I am so sad to hear that she will have to go through the tonsil things. You definitely have my prayers for a quick recovery. I agree, try telling any 3-yr old about what she can and can't have after a time is mind-boggling. Once she has the surgery, her throat will be raw, so I hope they will explain everything to you. Oh my, the little sweetling will wonder what is going on and why she has to hurt. Mother, it will be a trying time for you because if possible, I know you would gladly take her pain. Again, you have all our prayers and good wishes. I really appreciate your journal/calendar because my children and sisters will really enjoy their beauty and songs of praise that you have included. I am starting on mine after I finish Oncology Treatment and through December. God still smiles upon you and yours!!

Sending hugs and prayers for your little one! If it helps any, my lil bro had his tounsils out when he was 5 - you was eating popcorn that night! It's amazing how quickly little ones rebound (at least sometimes!).
