The Pumpkin Patch
I don't usually share my personal pictures on this site (outside of the ones on LOs), but I had a request for pictures of th e kids at the Pumpkin Patch. So here's my favorite of the two of them together. Being that we were the last group on the hayride for the day, the pumpkins were pretty picked over (this isn't where they grow, it's where they're placed for us to pick them). Also, we had a horrible drought this summer, so the pumpkins didn't look as good as normal -- lots of brown and green on the normal orange! But the kids still had fun.
Also some crazy good news from my outside world. I got a promotion! The down side is that we'll be moving within the next 2-3 months, so it will be high stress time. I'm definitely planning to finish November and December, but I'm VERY thankful that I'm nearly done with that, because if I were just starting this little project, there's no way I'd be able to finish. On the good side -- it will also mean that MY Christmas presents will be done, so I can focus on the move!
I know what everyone's going to ask: So you're going to uproot your whole family? Won't that be hard? Well.... yes, it always is. But this is our 6th move in our 9.5 years of marriage. Sixth state even! So while we don't enjoy the actual move/planning/stress of it all, it's always very exciting for us! And no, we're not military, believe it or not!
Anyway... that's just a heads up that I may be severely MIA over the next couple months!
And sorry... the other question you'll ask: What do you do? Who do you work for? Not going to answer that one other than to say "sales." :)
Have a wonderful night. I'm off to feed the kidlets. :)

thank you sarah!
Good luck on the move and congratulations on the promotion. You will be missed. the kits for the year are terrific.
Congrats on the promotion! I know how hard it can be moving with kids. I hope all goes well and you are blessed with a good time. Thank you for doing this kits and you will be missed when you finally do stop for a while. Hopefully you can pop in a post or two just to say you are alive. ;-)
What a great picture. They look like they are having the time of their lives. :)
I can empathize with a move. Did enough of it growing and with my first marriage (growing up was military; first marriage, he was in sales too).
It is hard, but can also be fun as I am sure you already know. We'll keep the home fires burning for you and your family in our thoughts while you are MIA. But we will definitely be looking forward to getting you back.
Congratulations on the promotion. As long as the family is able to stay together, that is what is more important. So glad to know that you and your dh have a correct understanding about your careers. Since the both of you have multiple titles, parent, workers, nurse, etc., this move might be the one that is your destiny for years to come. I hope you remember to leave the blog and space available to leave comments. This way, it will let you know that we are not only thinking of you, but praying for you and your entire family. Thanks for another fabulous October kit.
I was here the other day and left remarks, but then IE went black. So , I just had to return and let you know that I am always thinking of you and yours. Thanks again for being the kind of person that has made this planet a wonderful place to be. HUGS!!!
