Layered Template #33 - 7 Photo

Alrighty, here's the first of the 10 templates I'm working on. All of these have the same "feel," so could potentially make a really cute set for a book (hint: more Christmas gift ideas).

A few things about each of these to keep in mind:

1) The white grid lines and border are a layer unto themselves -- very easy to remove if you want no grid lines.

2) If you want to have no borders on the edges, just select all layers and expand it so they're off the page.

3) Each template can be rotated, so you can really have 4 different designs. Or flip them for even more "looks" to the design.

As I've mentioned, I'm not really an "elements" scrapper -- I can just never make them work. Also, the Photoshop I'm working with is version 5.0, which doesn't support PNG files -- makes it REALLY hard to scrapbook! And the computer I'm on is definitely not intended to do graphics. In other words, it keeps crashing. So my LO in the example is for example only -- I'm definitely going to spruce it up when I get the chance. That said... if anyone else has examples using this template (or any)... include a link in the comments section, so that I (and everyone else) can see how you used it! Inspiration is a wonderful thing! :) I'd especially love to see how you work papers and elements into these designs.

Download the file HERE. (link removed)
(Let me know if there are problems with the file -- as I mentioned, I'm using an old version of Photoshop.)

Love this simple, fun template! Thank you for sharing it with us! Hey, elements aren't essential. Sometimes I think they detract from the photos.

A great template Sarah. Thank you. Also nice to know that I'm not the only one with version 5 of PS. (I think I may even still have version 3, LOL).

Thank you so much for sharing your templates. I am making a gift book and these make things go so much faster. I have even altered some of your fantastic planner templates to work as 12x12 pages! I love your clean multi-photo style!

I just stopped by to congratulate you on providing that huge project of love to us. Just to find out that you are using such an old edition of Photoshop just boggles my mind. I am definitely aware about the last of PNG files which is ridiculous considering the huge costs that have always been associated with these programs.

To ALL OF US WHO HAVE BENEFITED FROM YOUR DESIGNS, I propose a donation of love from each one of us to help Sarah defray the cost of an newer version, even if it is from Ebay. Many have said that they bought version 7 real cheap, and then later upgraded. She can do the same. But at one time, they would accept the lower grades below 7.

I am on a small fixed income because of disability with high, extensive treatment bills. But, I could come up with at least $5. If you can afford more to show our appreciation, it definitely will be accepted. Who knows, if any of my children give me some money, I might be able to raise my donation. Sarah knows nothing about this suggestion. I am the same as you, a visitor to her site. For the journal alone, the $5 would not cover the cost that I have seen on many of the Blogs and digital-scrapping sites. If you purchased it from somewhere else, each part would be separated and no kits would be included. This is 12 separate kits, templates, and word art. If you have any suggestions about this, please list or you can contact me through sckimbrough at hotmail dot com. Please, let do this for Sarah. She is working with such obsolete software that it is a drama just to do a paper, let alone the grunge, patterns, etc. That is why she cannot do elements. My goodness, I have PSP-X and X2, PSE-5, and PSCE-2 on my computer and I am not a designer. Let's give a little monetary love. PLEASE!
